Obituary

Anne Tomasko Toteda, 88, of Belle Vernon, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, at 11:50 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Township. Born Oct. 9, 1918, in Punxsutawney, she was the daughter of the late John and Martha Mary Dunay Tomasko. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mrs. Toteda was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon and a retired nurse. She is survived by two sisters, Kathryn Palanza, of Monessen, and Julia DeFrancesco, of Charleroi, a brother- in-law, Joseph R. Toteda, of Belle Vernon, special friends, Robert and Mary Lacey, of Rostraver Township, and Marc and Jennifer Ginsberg, of Monroeville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Toteda, on Nov. 10, 2006, a sister, Mary Toteda, and four brothers, Andrew Evonko, John Tomasko, Jake Evonko and Michael Novak. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 23, in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., followed by interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Anne Toteda on Friday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
