Anne E.Slavik;94;of Monessen;died Sunday;Jan.;30;2000;in Mt.Lebanon Manor. Born in Whitsett on May 1;1905;she was a daughter of the late John and Bertha Fitman Delansky. Mrs.Slavik had been a Monessen resident most of her adult life. She was a member of the Holy Name Christian Mothers Society. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Michael L.Slavik in January of 1979;by two brothers and four sisters. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law;Evelyn and Edward Potinga;of South Park; a daughter;Eleanore Kovalsky of Kirkland;Ohio;six grandchildren;Tim Potinga of Clarksville;Tenn.;David Kovalsky of Hudson;Ohio;Dale Kovalsky of Plainsville;Ohio;Dennis Kovalsky of Atlanta;Ga.;Debra Frank of Mentor;Ohio and Stacey Bues of Ann Arbor;Mich.;12 grandchildren;12 great-grandchildren;and a sister;Margaret Clark of Donora. Friends will be received at the ROBERT A.BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC.;Grand Boulevard;Monessen;on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Blessing services will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home;followed by funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church;Monessen. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
