Anna Weightman of John the 23rd Home for Senior Citizens, Hermitage,died Wednesday, Dec. 14,1983 at 10:30 p.m. in the Shenango Valley Hospital,Farrell, She was 80. Mrs. Weightman was born Dec.9,1903, in Webster,a daughter of the late Michael and Victoria Moswka Gezzer. She was a member of the Union Church of Pricedale. Mrs. Weightman came to Pricedale in 1927 and had lived in Hermitage the past two years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband,Harry Weightman Sr.,Aug.1,1971. Survivors include one daughter,Mrs. Raymond (Margaret) Turner of Belle Vernon;one son,Harry Weightman Jr.of Sharon;two brothers,William Gezzer of East Pittsburgh and Martin Gezzer of Forest Hills;three sisters,Marie Johnson of Forest Hills,Julia Spears of Mansfield,Ohio,and Rose Bratina of Forest Hills;three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Sunday,Dec.18,at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor David R. Reeves of Union Baptist Church of Pricedale officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director,is in charge of arrangements.
