Anna Tadavich Wassilchalk; 79; of 1008 Hill St.; Belle Vernon; died Saturday; Nov. 17; 2001; at 8:15 p.m. in Mt. Macrina Manor; Uniontown. Born Dec. 20; 1921; in Pricedale; she was a daughter of the late George and Catherine Czizak Tadavich. Mrs. Wassilchalk was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; a homemaker and a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Monessen. She was also a member of St. Mary’s Rosary Society and the Belle Vernon Golden Age Assembly. Survivors include her husband of 61 years; Mike Wassilchalk; a son and daughter-in-law; Mike and Carol Wassilchalk Jr. of North Belle Vernon; a daughter and son-in-law; Rose Marie and Edward Lesovic of Belle Vernon; a sister and brother-in-law; Helen and Harry Gregory of Belle Vernon; and four grandchildren; Alice and Christian Breckenridge of Belle Vernon; Mark and Gala Wassilchalk of Somerset; Donna Wassilchalk of Belle Vernon and Scott Lesovic of Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by a sister; Mary Tadavich Davin. Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; family owned and operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Prayer service will be held Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home; followed by funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church; Monessen; with Msgr. Andrew D. Parvensky officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parish Rosary will be Monday at 2 p.m.; followed by services by the North Belle Vernon Fire Department at 7 p.m. and the Service for the Dead at 7:15 p.m.; all in the funeral home.
