Anna (Samek) Tomalski,81,of Mukula Road (Arnold City) Belle Vernon,died Saturday,Feb.5,1994,in Mon Valley Hospital,Carroll Township,after a lengthy illness. Mrs.Tomalski was born Feb. 20,1912,in Washington Township,Fayette County,a daughter of the late John Samek Sr. and Eva Mahlica Samek.She was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church,Fayette City. In addition to her parents,she was also preceded in death by her husband,Thaddeus (Ted) Tomalski (who died April 16,1971), and by a brother,John Samek Jr. (who died in 1969). Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law,John Thomas and Debbie Tomalski of Belle Vernon;five daughters,Mrs. Rocco (Patricia) Sciore of Belle Vernon,Mrs. James (Dorothy) Ramsier of Perryopolis,and Mrs. Fred (Marie) Tonarelli,Mrs. Ralph (Marcella) Niccolai and Mrs. Sam (Annette) Suppa,all of Belle Vernon;20 grandchildren;13 great-grandchildren;and one brother,Martin Samek of East McKeesport. Friends will be received in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,334 Main St.,Fayette City,on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.,on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday until 9:30 a.m.,the hour of a Prayer Service in the funeral home,followed by a 10 a.m.Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church,Fayette City,with the Rev. Richard E. Mackiewicz as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A Parish Wake Service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
