Obituary

Anna Dropchuk Sutovich, 91, of North Belle Vernon, died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011, at 8:52 a.m. at Country Care Manor, Washington Township. Born Aug. 23, 1920, in Smock, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose Rankowskie Dropchuk. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon, Mrs. Sutovich was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, member of the St. Barbara's Altar Guild and retired cleaning private homes and was a homemaker. She is survived by a son, John Sutovich, of North Belle Vernon, two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Stanley Dutchko, of North Belle Vernon, and Barbara and David Evans, of Rostraver Township, two brothers, Paul Dropchuk, of Florida, and Sam Dropchuk, of Michigan, two sisters, Julia Vinlimpglio and Susie Cee, both of Michigan, five grandchildren, Stanley Dutchko Jr., John Dutchko, Sherri Hilbert, Katie Evans and Ryan Evans, and three great-grandchildren, Damian, Terisa and Madison Lynn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Sutovich, on March 27, 1999, two sons, Charles Sutovich and Stanley Sutovich Jr., a grandson, David Evans Jr., on Jan. 5, 1999, a brother, Theodore J. Dropchuk, and two sisters, Catherine Monette and Helen Gretch. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, (724) 929-6183. Relatives and friends will gather Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011, for funeral services at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Mary Street, Belle Vernon, at 9 a.m. with the Very Rev. Samuel Smolcic of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas services will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
