Anna DeRose Scaglione;88;of Belle Vernon;died Saturday;March 22;1997;in Mon valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Born Aug.12;1908;in Elizabeth;she was a daughter of the late Sam and Seraphina Guarascio DeRose. A member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;she was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Frank Scaglione;Jan.1;1973;and a sister;Mary Fiorino. Survivors include three sons;Paul Scaglione of Arnold City;Frank Scaglione of Fairhope and Thomas Scaglione of Belle Vernon;one sister;Rose Forsythe of Belle Vernon;15 grandchildren;15 great-grandchildren;and three great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a Blessing service will be held Monday at 10 a.m.with the Rev.E.George Saletrik;parochial vicar of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
