The community was shocked late Wednesday night,September 15,1926 to learn of the sudden death of Mrs. Anna T. Regan,wife of John P. Regan of 440 McKee avenue,Monessen. Mrs. Regan about four weeks ago suffered from ptomain poisoning,but did not take her condition seriously until about a week ago when she developed yellow jaundice. Her condition became such that she was taken to the Mercy hospital,Pittsburgh Tuesday and hopes were entertained for her complete recovery until Wednesday when complications set in and she became unconcious and quietly passed away at 10: 30 Wednesday night. The deceased was 47 years of age and besides her husband is survived by five sons,John Jr.,Frank,Joseph, Paul and Thomas,also her mother, Mrs. Mary Moran of Belle Vernon,one sister,Mrs.James McKenna of Monessen,two brothers,John and Daniel of Belle Vernon,and a third brother,James,of Ohio. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at the St. Leonard's Church,of which the deceased was a devout member and interment will be made in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
