Obituary
Anna Grant of East Millsboro R.D.1 died Sunday,May 2,1982 at 3 p.m. in the Uniontown Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was 89. Mrs. Grant ws born Feb. 15,1893 in Connellsville,a daughter of the late Isaac and Elizabeth Bumgard Spiker. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints,Fayette City. Mrs. Grant was preceded in death by her husband,Charles L. Grant Sr.,in February of 1947, a son,Charles L. Grant Jr. in June of 1958,a son,Meryle,in June of 1945 and a daughter,Georgette, in June of 1977. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary Shanyfelt of East Millsboro R.D.1 and Mrs. Wilda Davis of Grindstone;five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,Monday from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until 1 p.m. Wednesday,the hour of service.
