Anna M.Elder of Belle Vernon R.D.1 died Sunday at 11:56 a.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Twp. She was 84. Mrs.Elder was born Jan.31;1899;in Rostraver Twp.;a daughter of the late John and Lydia Brown Popp. A lifelong resident of Rostraver Twp.;she was preceded in death by her husband;Wilbert Elder;and a daughter;Betty Beckinger. Survivors include two sons;Keith Beckinger of Monongahela and Eugene R.Beckinger of Cortland;Ohio;two brothers;Raymond Popp of New Eagle and Walter Popp of Belle Vernon R.D.1;one sister;Mrs.Joseph (Davona) Hornack of Belle Vernon R.D.1;four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Hhome;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Wednesday;Aug.10;at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Maybell Johnson of the United Methodist Church officiating.
