Obituary

Anna (Palocheck) Kosanko, 102, of Fayetle City R.D. 1, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 1990, at 4:30 p.m. at her home following a short illness. She was born in Austria-Hungary on Oct. 10, 1888, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Palocheck. Mrs. Kosanko was a Catholic by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Kosanko, on July 20, 1966, and two sons, Andrew and Michael, in infancy. She is survived by three sons, John Kosanko, Steve Kosanko and Joseph Kosanko, all of Fayette City R.D. 1, six daughters, Mrs. Cleo (Mary) Waite of Erie, Mrs. Elizabeth Lang of Dunlevy, Mrs. Thomas Donald (Ann) Protos Smith of Perryopolis, Mrs. Helen Roman Shetterly of Streetsboro, Ohio, Mrs. Samuel (Katherine) Esper of Parma, Ohio, and Mrs. John (Irene) Kruczek Pallo of Charleroi, 20 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home, Fayette City, Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday until 10 a.m. when a Blessing service will be held in the funeral home with Msgr.Andrew D.Pavinsky,pastor of St.Mary Byzantine Catholic Church of Monessen,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
