Anna Joanne Haugen; 73; formerly of Charleroi; passed away Friday; Nov. 4; 2011; in the Washington County Health Center. A daughter of the late Gus and Mary Yetsconish Melissas; she was born in Monessen on March 8; 1938. She had been employed as a waitress at LaEda’s Restaurant of Monessen. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law; Susan and Donald Stahl; and two grandsons; all of Forest Lake; Minn.; one son and daughter-in-law; Allan and Julie Haugen; and three granddaughters; all of Phoenix; Ariz.; one sister and brother-in-law; Kay and Bob Valko; of Kingsville; Md.; one cousin; Jennie Melissas; of Monessen; and two nieces and one nephew. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by one sister; Marie Herman; formerly of Gettysburg.
