Anna H. Belczyk Baranski, 87,of 335 Glister Road, Belle Vernon (Fairhope),died Thursday,March 21,1996,at 4:50 p.m. in Brownsville General Hospital. Born Feb. 19,1909,in Arnold City,she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Kudlat Belczyk. Mrs. Baraski lived in Fairhope the past 32 years,having previously resided in Birmingham, Mich. She was a member of St. Joseph Polish National Catholic Church,Fairhope. She was a Gold Star Mother and was a member of the Gold Star Mothers Club of Pontiac, Mich. She was a retired press operator for Michigan Tool and Die Company. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Hojara,who died in 1936;her second husband,Walter Baranski,who died in 1963; a son, Walter J. Hojara,who died during the Korean Conflict; a sister, Helen Belczyk and a brother, John Belczyk. Surviving are one son, Martin E. Hojara of Belle Vernon;one daughter, Joann Rathka of Fairhope;five brothers, Andrew Belsick,George Belsick and Jack Belczyk, all of Fairhope,Mike Belczyk of Fayette City and Joe Belczyk of Arnold City;one sister, Mrs. Stanley (Lena) Coates of Arnold City; two grandchildren, Teresa Palanza and Catherine Sikora; and three great-grandchildren,Rachel Rischitelli,James Palanza and Rikki Sikora. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Felix Pyzowski,pastor of St.Joseph Polish National Catholic Church,Fairhope, officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home.
