Obituary

Mrs.Anna G.Nichols,69,of Grindstone,died Saturday March 28,1970,at 1:05 p.m.in Brownsville General Hospital after a short illness. Born in Fayette City,she was a daughter of the late George and Lydia Brightwell Glasgow. Mrs.Nichols was a member of American Legion Post 295 Auxiliary and Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary,both of Grindstone. Surviving are her husband,James,two sons,Jimmie Junior Nichols at home and Robert L.Nichols of Hopwood,two daughters,Mrs.Louise Doyle of Grindstone and Mrs.Paul (Lenora) Conklin of Pitcairn,a brother,Robert Glasgow of Butler,one sister,Mrs.Lena Harbaugh of Curtisville,seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City. Service there Tuesday,March 31,at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.John W.McLeister,pastor of Fayette City's United Methodist Church,officiating. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory is funeral director.
