Mrs.Anna G.Nichols;69;of Grindstone;died Saturday March 28;1970;at 1:05 p.m.in Brownsville General Hospital after a short illness. Born in Fayette City;she was a daughter of the late George and Lydia Brightwell Glasgow. Mrs.Nichols was a member of American Legion Post 295 Auxiliary and Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary;both of Grindstone. Surviving are her husband;James;two sons;Jimmie Junior Nichols at home and Robert L.Nichols of Hopwood;two daughters;Mrs.Louise Doyle of Grindstone and Mrs.Paul (Lenora) Conklin of Pitcairn;a brother;Robert Glasgow of Butler;one sister;Mrs.Lena Harbaugh of Curtisville;seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City. Service there Tuesday;March 31;at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.John W.McLeister;pastor of Fayette City’s United Methodist Church;officiating. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory is funeral director.
