Anna Bashada Flora; 95; of North Belle Vernon; died Monday; July 1; 2002; at 8:30 a.m. at West Malden Manor; Charleroi. Born Sept. 6; 1906; in Arnold City; she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Urbanik Bashada. Mrs. F1ora was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area. She was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon; owned and operated Flora’s Inn in Gillespie; and was a member of the Belle Vernon and Fayette City Gold Age assemblies and the former Belle Vernon VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Flora is survived by one daughter; Philomena Iacovangelo of Belle Vernon; and two grandchildren; Timothy Trasatti of Fayette City and Tammy Trasatti of Belle Vernon. She was preceded in death by her husband; Pete Flora; in 1976; one daughter; Tomasina Flora; three brothers; Stanley; Andrew and Michael Bashada; and one sister; Catherine Buttermore. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; Family Owned and Operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. A prayer service will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home; followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Sebastian R.C. Church; Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian Parish will recite the rosary for the departed soul of Anna Flora at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
