Obituary

Anna (Mascara) Camino, 98, of Belle Vernon, died 9:34 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Residence at Hilltop, Carroll Township. Born Feb. 6, 1915, in Monessen, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Cesira Bartolozi Mascara. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, she was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, owned and operated with her husband Camino's Curb service Restaurant in Belle Vernon and Patty's Lounge for 25 years, was an extraordinary seamstress and enjoyed playing cards and shopping. The family would also extend their deepest gratitude to the Residence At Hilltop and Amedysis Hospice for their care and support to our grandmother. She is survived by four grandchildren, Jon Wasicek and wife Michele of North Belle Vernon, Elizabeth Moody and husband Raymond of Fayette City, Maggie Hurtt and husband Eric of Churchville, Md., and Kelley Wasicek of Pittsburgh, five great-grandchildren, Nicholas Wasicek, Jessica Hurtt, Caroline Hurtt, Abigail Wasicek, Mallory Wasicek, and her beloved feline, Libro. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Camino, two daughters, Pati A. Wasicek and Linda G. Camino, son-in-law, Jan Lee Wasicek, grandson, David F. Wasicek, three brothers, Bill, John and Frank Mascara, and two sisters, Inez Mascara and Genevieve Mascara. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME and CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Prayer Service will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home, followed by funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian R.C. Church, with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick, Pastor, as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Anna Camino to St. Sebastian Church.
