Anna Bazilwich, 83,of 8 Ruth Place,Clair Manor,Belle Vernon,died Monday,April 6,1992,at 8:35 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital,Carroll Township.She was born Sept. 23,1908,in Donora,a daughter of the late Nicholas and Susan Lyoss Lastoka. Mrs. Bazilwich was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Belle Vernon. She was a former resident of Monessen and Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,Paul Bazilwich Sr.,on Aug. 14,1990;two brothers,Michael and Andrew Lastoka; and a grandson,Paul Robert Bazilwich. Survivors include one son, retired Col.Paul Bazilwich Jr.of Alamo,Calif.;four daughters, Mrs. Maurice (Dolores) Ayers of McLean,Va.,Mrs. Eugene (LaVerne) Richey of Clifton,Va.,Mrs. Donald W. (Joyce) Lynn of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Louis (Darlene) Georgiades of Delft,Netherlands; one brother,Pete Lastoka of Monessen;three sisters,Marie Sayka of Belle Vernon,Susan Billy of Monessen and Helen Sladich of Charleroi;10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church,Belle Vernon,with the Rev. John Kluchko,pastor,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas service will be held Thursday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
