Obituary

Anna Seykoski Annonio,86,of Donora,formerly of Monessen,died Friday,June 19,1998,at 1:41 p.m. in Monongahela Valley Hospital,following a lengthy illness. She was born in Czechoslovakia on Dec.23,1911,a daughter of the late John and Anna Hrietz Seykoski. Mrs.Annonio was a resident of Monessen most of her life,having worked as a custodian for the City of Monessen in the municipal building for over 20 years. She was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church and a member of the VFW Post 1190 Ladies Auxiliary in Monessen. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,Peter Annonio in 1991,and four brothers,Mike,George,Andy and Emil Seykoski,and two sisters,Mary Varganin and Helen Harchar. Survivors include two daughters,Olive Boyd of Donora,with whom she made her home,Mrs.Joseph (Marguerite) Demchak of New Eagle,a brother,John Seykoski of Arnold City,two sisters,Betty Hale of Monessen and Mrs.George (Margaret) Nalepa of Cleveland,Ohio,nine grandchildren,14 great-grandchildren,and four great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc.,441 Reed Ave.,Monessen. A blessing service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home,followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church in Monessen. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc.,Timothy J.Billick,funeral director.
