Ann Simensky Costello; 84; of Belle Vernon; died Thursday; April 8; 2004; at 9:20 a.m. in Haven Crest Nursing Home; Carroll Township. Born Aug. 10; 1919; in Grindstone; she was a daughter of the late Peter Sr. and Mary Kuchta Simensky. Mrs. Costello was a resident of Rostraver Township for the past 59 years; a homemaker; and Catholic by faith. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Michael David and Janice Costello of Rostraver Township; one daughter; Mary Ann Landkrohn of Rostraver Township; two grandchildren; Melissa Ann Riva and Michael Aaron Costello; one great-granddaughter; Janna Riva; and four sisters and three brothers-in-law; Helen and Tom Hall of Ventura; Calif.; Jackie and Joe Zaharewicz of Pittsburgh; Pauline and Chester Porzucik of Warren; Ohio; and Mary Berger of Clarksville. She was preceded in death by her husband; Michael CosteIlo; on April 7; 2003; and three brothers; John Simensky; Peter Simensky Jr.; and Joseph Simensky. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; family owned and operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon; 724-929-6183. Services will be held Saturday; April 10 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Ronald Cyktor Jr.; parochial vicar; St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; Belle Vernon; officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Ann Costello on Friday at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
