Obituary

Ann R.Stonfer,94,of Newell,died Saturday,July 14,2001,in Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born Feb.21,1907,in Dunlevy,a daughter of the late John and Mary Sekula Reho. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church,Newell,the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary,Brownsville,Veterans of Foreign War Auxiliary Post 1601,Newell,and Women's Life Society of Connellsville Auxiliary 231. She was also a bar steward of Newell Moose Lodge 269. She was preceded in death by her husband,Michael J.Stonfer,and sisters,Jay Crampo,Pauline Reho and Mary Tintori. Surviving are her son,W.Michael Stonfer and wife Dianne of Newell,grandson Michael J.Stonfer and wife Gina Marie Conroy-Stonfer of Pittsburgh,a granddaughter,Denice Stonfer Zelmore and husband Brian of Mount Pleasant,brothers,John (Jack) Reho and wife Betty of Belle Vernon,sisters,Helen Hollis of Billings,Mont.,Betty Clark of Kissimmee,Fla.,Veronica Hutton and husband Ralph of Belle Vernon. Friends will be received in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home Inc.,334 Main St.,Fayette City,Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Tuesday until 10 a.m.when a Blessing service will take place with the Rev.William Berkey,deacon,officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
