Obituary

Ann McCauley, loving mother and grandmother, of Belle Vernon, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005, in Mon Valley Hospital. She was 92 years old, a daughter of the late Wassil and Anna Veletich Moneta and was born in Neffs, Ohio, on April 18, 1913. Mrs. McCauley was a member of Pricedale Union Church, where she was very active in the bereavement group, the church board and many other volunteer efforts. A life-long resident of Belle Vernon, she retired in 1978 after 20 years from Corning Glass. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Linda McCauley, of Thurmont, Md., two grandchildren, James C. McCauley and fianc e Carolyn Stambaugh, and Patrick A. McCauley and wife Amber, many nieces, including three special nieces, Virginia Novak, Trudy Rhoderick and Josephine Grzebyk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. McCauley, in 1959, and three brothers, Peter and Joseph Liposhok and Anthony Moneta. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE, a Golden Rule Member Firm, www.fergusonfuneralhome.net, (724-929-5300), 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Saturday, Nov. 26, at 10 a.m. with Pastor James Mimidis officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
