Obituary

Ann Coleman, 90, of Charleroi, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004, in Washington County Health Center. She was born May 10, 1914, in New Salem, the daughter of the late John and Anna Kiss Mihalik. She was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church Parish of Charleroi, the Confraternity of Christian Mothers, and she was a former member of the Charleroi Senior Citizens and Golden Agers, the Democratic Women's Club and the Homemakers Club. She also worked at the Charleroi Vets Club and Sons of Italy bingos. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, George Jr. and Josephine Coleman of Bristol, Tenn., three daughters and two sons-in-law, Ann Marie and Howard Scalzi of Overland Park, Kan., Cindy Watkins of Roscoe and Georgeann Gege and Ronald Stover of Charleroi, 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Coleman Sr., in 1986, and one grandson, Robert Coleman. Friends will be received in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Dec. 18, at 10 a.m. in Mary, Mother of the Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
