Obituary

Angelo Tollari, 97, of Belle Vernon, Washington Township, died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at 7:01 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital, Carroll Township. Born Oct. 18, 1905, in Italy, he was a son of the late Battista and Veronica Orsini Tollari. He was a resident of Belle Vernon for the past 71 years, a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, Belle Vernon, and was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Monessen Plant, where he worked as a chipper. He also was a life member of the East Belle Vernon Athletic Association. Mr. Tollari is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Angelo B. and Audrey Tollari of Belle Vernon, and Anthony Tollari of New Florence, one daughter and son-in-law, Louise and Vincent Notaurangelo of Delaware, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Greco Tollari, on March 21, 1987, one brother, Adolph Tollari, and two sisters, Josephine Del Sarone and Mary Scalabrini. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. A Prayer Service will be held Saturday, March 8, at 8:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Ronald Cyktor Jr., parochial vicar, as celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian Parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Angelo Tollari on Friday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
