Obituary

Angelo S. Fazio, 87, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Township, died Wednesday, June 25, 2003, at 1:15 p.m. at his residence. Born May 6, 1916, in Belle Vernon, he was the son of the late Peter and Philomena Faga Fazio. He was a lifelong resident of Rostraver Township and a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon. Mr. Fazio retired in 1977 from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Monessen Plant, where he worked as a general foreman in the construction department. He is survived by his wife, Ann Holet Fazio, to whom he was married 65 years, two sons and daughters-in-law, Barry and Janis Fazio of Rostraver Township and Dennis and Joan Fazio of Whitehall, and four granddaughters, Jaime Rogers and husband Timothy, and Janine, Rachel and Sarah Fazio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and several sisters. Visitation will be held Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). A prayer service will be held Saturday at 8:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Kenneth Zaccagnini, administrator, as celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian Parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Angelo Fazio on Friday at 3 p.m.
