Angeline Cherock;78;of 3900 S.19th St.;Arlington;Va.;died Friday;April 5;1991;at 9 a.m.in Arlington Hospital. Born Nov.24;1912;in Grindstone;she was the daughter of the late James Matrozzo and Carmella Cimino Matrozzo Vadella. Mrs.Cherock lived in Arlington the past 30 years;having formerly resided in Belle Vernon. She was a member of St.Thomas Moore Roman Catholic Church;Arlington. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Frank Cherock;a sister;Fortunata Toth;two brothers;Frank and Fred Matrozzo;a son;William Cherock;who died in 1939;and her stepfather;Joseph Vadella;who raised her. Surviving are four brothers;Anthony Matrozzo of Belle Vernon;Ralph Matrozzo of Fredericksburg;Va.;Patrick Vadella of Elco and Joseph Vadella of Belle Vernon;and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a prayer service will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.
