Angelina Essey; 85; of Greensburg; formerly of Largo; Fla.; Washington; Pa.; and Belle Vernon; died Wednesday; Oct. 17; 2007; at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. She was born Oct. 24; 1921; in Monessen; the daughter of the late Steve and Leona Denamur. Mrs. Essey was a member of St. Michael’s Orthodox Church in Greensburg and a former member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church; Pinelas Park; Fla.; and the Antiochian Women of the church. She was a member and served as an officer of the Orange Lake Civic Center while in Florida. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; George Essey; two daughters; Leona and Georgene Essey; and her brother; George Gialas. She is survived by her daughter; Michelle Murray and her husband; William C.; of Greensburg. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at St. Michael’s Orthodox Church; Ashland Ave.; South Greensburg. Trisagion services will be held 7:30 p.m. Friday in the church. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday in the church with Archpriest John Nosal officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Alvin P.
