Andrew Turek;48;of 9528 North Point;Dallas;Tex.;a former resident of Fayette City;was pronounced dead on arrival at Dallas Hospital;Monday;Dec.27;1971;at 4:45 a.m. A son of the late Andrew and Sophia Shesniak Turek;he was born in Fayette City on March 12;1923. He was graduated from Purdue University and was a vetern of World War II. Mr.Turek was business manager for a meat company in Dallas. Surviving are his widow;Mrs.Genevieve Turek;three daughters;Mrs.Anna Shine and Mrs.Genevieve Bellah of Dallas and Lisa at home;two sons;Joseph and Andrew;at home;two brothers;John and Theodore Turek of Charleroi;and five sisters;Mrs.Mary Ross of Fayette City;Mrs.Helen M.Urad of Westport;Conn.;Mrs.Sophie Sabolek of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Margaret Applegate of Charleroi R.D.1 and Mrs.Sandra Magruda of Charleroi R.D.2. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;after 7 p.m.Wednesday. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home Friday;Dec.31;1971;at 8:30 a.m.;followed at 9 a.m.by a Requiem service at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church;Belle Vernon;with the Rev.John Kluchko officiating.
