He was a member of Hungarian Presbyterian Church;Pricedale;William Penn Fraternal Association;Branch 7 and the Hungarian Club;Pricedale. He was retired from the Somers mine;Pittsburgh Coal Co.;Pricedale;May 25;1941. Surviving are his widow;Emma;a son;Emil Turda of Silver Spring;Md.;five daughters;Mrs.Louis (Elizabeth) Varga;Leechburg;Mrs.William (Isabel) Kovatch;Fairhope;Mrs.Alex (Erma) Kovatch;Strongsville;Ohio;Mrs.Frank (Ella) Illar;Daisytown;Mrs.Fred (Lillian) Spruth;Detroit;Mich. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;after 7 p.m.;Friday;June 11. Prayer services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday;June 12;at 6:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Sunday;June 13;at 2 p.m.from the funeral home;followed by additional services from the Union Church;Pricedale.
