Andrew S. Zakoski,47,of 227 Knox Ave.,Monessen,died Wednesday morning,April 22,1959 at 5:30 in Oakland Veterans Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the 95th Infantry Division. He had worked as a wire tester at the Page Division of the American Chain & Cable Co.,Monessen. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Association,St. Leonard R. C.Church and its Sared Heart Society. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anne Stanko Zakoski and a brother,Stanley of Monessen. Friends will be received at the Check Home for Funerals,100 Schoonmaker Ave.,Monessen,from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Blessing services will be held from the funeral home on Saturday,April 25,at 9:30 a.m.,with additional rites to follow at 10 o'clock from St. Leonard R. C.Church,Monessen. The Rev. Martin O'Toole will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. John L. Kravets, funeral director.
