Andrew Septak,51,of 110 Plainview St.,Belle Vernon, died Tuesday, March 15,1960,at 5 p.m. in the Mercy State Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born in Smithton on Aug. 4,1908,he was a member of the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Monessen. He was retired due to ill health in 1958 from Jones and Laughlin Steel Corp.,Southside Plant, Pittsburgh. Surtviving are two brothers, Paul and Samuel of Pittsburgh;three sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Anna) Kudlik,with whom he made his home,Mrs. George (Helen) Brazack of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Donald (Julia) Karalovich of Pittsburgh. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon, after 7 p.m.on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held Friday morning. Funeral home visiting hours are from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Requiem services will be held there Wednesday and Thursday evenings at eight o'clock, and Requiem Divine Liturgy will be held in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Ortrhodox Church,Monessen,Friday,March 18,at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Michael Yarosh will be in charge,and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson is the funeral director.
