Obituary

Andrew Sedlak, aged 53 years,Brown street, Pricedale,died suddenly of a heart attack Monday morning, September 24,1956, at 10 o'clock.  Mr. Sedlak was employed at the Page Division, American Chain and Cable Co.  He was a member of Monessen Lodge No. 638,Free and Accepted Masons,and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rites of Pittsburgh.  He also was affiliated with the Slovak Club of Charleroi and was church council member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Charleroi. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Sedlak; his mother, Mrs. Anna Sedlak of long branch;five daughters, Mrs. Milan (Dolores) Veres of Charleroi,Mrs. George (Judy) Coch of Monessen,Elizabeth Marie,Catherine and Sharon, at home;five grandchildren, three brothers, John and Goorge of Long Branch,and Paul of Washington,Pa.; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Raboci of Pricedale, Mrs. Helen Frazetti and Anna Sedlak,both of Long Branch.Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home,Broad avenue,Belle Vernon,where visiting hours are from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.  Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from St. John's Lutheran Church,Washington avenue, Charleroi,with Rev. Stephen Furnyak officiating.  Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Harold R.Toner,funeral director.
