Andrew H.Kuhl;81;of Lakewood;Ohio;died Thursday;April 25;1996;in Fairview General Hospital;Lakewood. Born March 14;1915;in Monessen;he was the son of the late Andrew P.and Lenora Kohnfelder Kuhl. Mr.Kuhl was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cleveland;Ohio. He was a member of B.P.O.E.Lodge 1350;Lakewood;the 40 et 8 Group Voyager 46 of Westmoreland County;Veterans of Foreign Wars Post;Cleveland;and the Disabled American Veterans. He was a life member of the American Legion Post in Mt.Pleasant. Mr.kuhl had been a resident of Lakewood since 1985;having previously resided in Pittsburgh and Belle Vernon. He was retired as a sales engineer and had served for several years during the 1960s as borough secretary in North Belle Vernon. He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War II. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by his wife;Jane W.Kuhl;on June 18;1995. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law;Andrew D. and Caroline Kuhl of Lakewood;Ohio;one brother;Charles Kuhl of Greeley;Col.;two grandchildren;Caroline J.Kus and Andrew W.Kus;and two great-grandchildren;Aaron Kus and Alexandra Kus. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev.Gilson C.Waldkoenig;interim pastor of Christ Lutheran Church;Charleroi;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.
