Andrew Gordon Brown,aged 16 years, son of Mr.and Mrs. Horace Brown,of Belle Vernon,died at 1:30 a.m.Tuesday morning,August 13,1940,in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital. He was a student at the North Belle Vernon High School and a member of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his parents,a sister,Catherine Grace Brown,and his grandparents,Mr.and Mrs. Andrew Boyd. Friends are being received at the home, 520 Green street, Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock,with Rev. Edwin G. Sloan,pastor of the Presbyterian Church,officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
