Obituary

Andrew F. Wilson,43,Arnold City,died Friday, May 14,1965 at 5:30 a.m. in Washington Hospital of head and Internal injuries suffered in an accident while at work Wednesday at the Ellsworth Mine of Bethlehem Steel Corp.  Mr. Wilson,employed as a continuous miner operator,was working at a cutting face when he was caught under a rock fall. He hed been employed at the Ellsworth mine since 1947. He was born in Birmingham,Ala.,June 7,1921,and lived in the Belle Vernon area for the past 39 years.  He was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church of Arnold City and a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his widow,Estella Wilson,his mother, Mrs. Izora Wilson,with whom he made his home,one step-daughter, Claudine,three sisters, Mrs. Milton (Rebecca) Dupree of Arnold City,Mrs. Nathan (Mary Ann) Golt of North Charleroi,Mrs. Finley (Izora) Carson of Belle Vernon and one brother, Edgar of Arnold City. Friends will be received at the Beverly C. Draper Funeral Home,Monessen,after 7 p.m. Saturday.  Services will be held Monday,May 17,at 1 p.m. in the Antioch Baptist Church, Belle Vernon,in charge of the Rev. A.C. Morris. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Beverly C. Draper of Monessen is the funeral director.
