Andrew Dennis Luzanski;57;of 646 Graham St.;Belle Vernon;died suddenly at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday;Nov.2;1976;in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon;born there on Nov.24;1918;a son of the late John and Ann Luzanski. Mr.Luzanski was employed at the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was a member of St.Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church of Monessen;was past commander and current finance officer of American Legion Post 659;Belle Vernon;and belonged also to the Legion Club of Belle Vernon;Allenport Rod and Gun Club and American Slavonic Citizens Club of Fayette City. He was a veteran of world War II;having served in the U.S.Army Air Corps. Mr.Luzanski was preceded in death by a sister;Mary Luzanski;in 1960;and a brother;George Luzanski;in 1936. Surviving are his widow;Margaret Frantz Luzanski;one daughter;Mary Ann;at home;one son;John Paul;at home;two brothers;John Luzanski Jr.and Michael Luzanski;both of Belle Vernon;and three sisters;Anna Sarnowski and Mrs.Eugene (Helen) Gilmore;both of Belle Vernon;and Sue Janosik of Swissvale. Friends will be received at the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday;Nov.3;and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday;Nov.4. Blessing services will be held at the funeral home on Friday;Nov.5;at 9:30 a.m.;followed by additional services at St.Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church;Monessen;with Msgr.Andrew D.Parvensky;pastor;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Services for the Dead will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 7 p.m. and Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659 will hold services there on Thursday at 8 p.m. Leonard J.Parzynski is funeral director in charge.
