Andrew Coulson,66,of 708 McKean Ave.,Charleroi,died Monday Dec. 11,1978 at 11 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was born Feb. 7,1912,in Charleroi,a son of the late George and Katherine Coulson. Mr. Coulson was educated in Charleroi Public schools and lived in Charleroi his entire life. He was retired form the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel corp. and was a member of Holy Ghost Byzantine Chrcrh, Charleroi. Mr. Coulson was a veteran of World War II,hving served in the U.S. Air Force. Surivors include his widow, Beatrice Aldridge Coulson; two sons, Robert and David J. Coulson,both at home; one daughter, Mrs. Darlene Warren of Charleroi;two brothers, Steve Coulson of Charleroi and William Coulson of Bentleyville;three sisters, Mrs. John (Mary) Dean and Mrs. Steve (Irene) Durko,both of Charleroi and Mrs. Andrew (Martha) Wacko of Monessen and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Andrew, in 1969,and two brothers. Friends will be received in the Michael A. Melinchak Funeral Home,Inc.,825 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi,from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Services will be held in the funeral home Friday at 11 a.m.,with the Rev. Dr. W.S. VanArsdale of the First Christian Church, Charleroi,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Michael A. Melanchak Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
