Obituary

Andrew B.Houseman,69,of 205 S.Millvale Ave.,Pittsburgh,formerly of Belle Vernon,died suddenly in the West Penn Hospital,Pittsburgh,Saturday,Aug.26,1961. Mr.Houseman,who was born in West Elizabeth,Jan.11,1891,was the second commander of Charleroi American Legion Post 22. He was a U.S.Army veteran of World War I. He was a carpenter by trade and was a member of the Carpenter's Union,Local 142,Pittsburgh. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of East Liberty. He is survived by two brothers,George of Chicago,Ill,and Edgar C.Houseman of Charleroi. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Tuesday,Aug.29,1962,at 2 p.m.,in charge of the Rev.Curtis Patterson. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner,Belle Vernon,is the funeral director.
