A resident of Belle Vernon 52 years;Mr.Malaga was a member of St.John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian Orthodox Brotherhood of America;both of Monessen. He was a United Mine Worker;retiring 14 years ago. Mr.Malaga was born in Austria June 6;1889. His wife;Eva;died Nov.25;1963. Surviving are four sons;Andrew Jr.of Smithton;John and George at home and Joseph of Falls Church;Va.;five daughters;Mrs.William (Mary) Clifford of Pittsburgh;Mrs.John (Helen) Costella of Belle Vernon R.D.2;Mrs.Anne Knotter of Phoenix;Ariz.;Mrs.Ernest (Nelle) Valdiserri of Belle Vernon and Mrs.Catherine Brent of Phoenix;a sister;Mrs.Mary Onderchanin of Detroit;Mich.;twenty-six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
