Mrs. Anastasia Shimchick,74,1016 Henry St.,Belle Vernon,died Sunday April 27,1958 at 5:50 a.m. at her home. Mrs. Shimchick was a member of the United Russian Orthodox Brotherhood of America and of the St. John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church of Monessen. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Mary Martin of Clairton,Mrs. Anna Kurtak and Mrs. George Skurkay,both of Pleasant HIlls and Mrs. Charles Crumlish of Beaver Falls;two sons,Michael,at homr and John of Fellsburg; a sister, Mrs. Alex Chabalka of North Charleroi;seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Harold R.Toner Funeral Home,Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be Wednesday,April 30,at 9 a.m. from the St. John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church of Monessen,with the Rev. John Govrusik officiating at Requiem Mass. Interment will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R. Toner,funeral director.
