Amos Dauvin of Wayne;Mich.;and formerly of Monessen;died at his late home Wednesday morning;September 5;1962;of an apparent heart attack. He was born in MacDonald;Pa.;in 1897;and while a resident of Monessen was employed at the tin mill. Surviving are his widow;Florence Newman Dauvin;three daughters;Mrs.Charles McGlone of Wayne;Mich.;Mrs.Jerry Young and Mrs.Mainard Sparks of Denver;Colo. Also surviving are two brothers;Clem of Monessen and Alfred of St.Petersburg;Fla.;one sister;Mrs.Dena Brewer of Monterey Park;Calif. and seven grandchildren. The remains were brought to the Willock Funeral Home in McKeesport.
