Amerigo Minardi,87,of Box 257,Charleroi R.D.2, (Twilight),died Thursday, Aug. 9,1990,in Mon Valley Hospital Inc.,Carroll Township. Born Feb. 16,1903,in Belle Vernon, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Euphemia Minardi. A self-employed truck driver,Mr. Minardi had been a resident of Twilight Borough for the past 60 years. He was a member of Bethany Bible Fellowship Church, Twilight. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by his first wife, Theresa,in 1960,and a son,David in 1970. Surviving are his wife, Rose Freno Minardi, one son and daughter-in-law, L.Paul and Roberta Minardi of Twilight, two grandchidlren, Theresa and Lewis Jr., three sisters, Florence VonBerg and Edith Destefano, both of Belle Vernon, and Mrs. Renaldo (Esther) Arnoldi of Monessen, one brother, Albert (Boots) Minardi of Monessen and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in Rhome Funeral Home Inc.,1209 Grand Blvd.Monessen,Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.,when services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Philip Cook of Bethany Bible Fellowship Church,Twilight,officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.
