Amelia Mae McCamic of Monongahela R.D.1 died Thursday,Nov. 11,1982,in Allegheny General Hospital,Pittsburgh. Born in Fairhope,Mrs. McCamic had been a resident of the mid-Mon Valley for several years. She was instrumental in setting up the Visiting Nurses Service as well as other home health services through the Mon Valley Health Center in Monessen before her retirement in December,1978. Survivors include her husband,Frederick N. McCamic;one daughter,Mrs. Ellen Rush of Aldie,Va.;one son,Frederick W. McCamic of Atlantic City,N.J.;three grandchildren;two sisters,Mrs. Martha Houtz of Birmingham,Ala.,and Mrs. Jesse (Doris) Gerard of Charleroi;and one brother,Herbert Mollard of Brownstown. Friends will be received in the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.,1209 Grand Blvd.,Monessen,on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.where services will be held on Saturday,Nov.13,at 1:30 p.m.,with the Rev. Francis Blair,pastor of the Charleroi Presbyterian Church,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rhome Funeral Home,Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
