A heart attack which seized her suddenly at 4:45 o'clock Thursay morning,May 1,1941,at her home in 511 Henry street,Belle Vernon,proved fatal to Mrs.Amelia S.Allison,aged 75 years. One of Belle Vernon'a best known residents,Mrs.Allison's death was a distinct shock to the community in which she had resided most of her life. She came to this section from her birthplace in England at the age of five years. She was a member of the Methodist Church of Belle Vernon. Surviving are three brothers,George and Albert Mountsier of Belle Vernon and Clement Mountsier of Monessen and three daughters,Mrs. Henrietta Dean of Kane;Mrs.Louise Anna Corwin of Lancaster,Ohio,and Mrs.Maude Bowers of Belle Vernon. The remains are at the Melenyzer Funeral Home in Belle Vernon where funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon,May 4,1941,in charge of Rev.H.S. Pierce,pastor of the Methodist Church. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas.L.Melenyzer is the funeral director in charge.
