He is survived by his wife;Mrs.Stella McCune Peters;three children;Leroy Jr.;John and Carol Lou;his father and step-mother;Mr.and Mrs.R.C.Peters;and one sister;Mrs.Vera Vitale of Monessen;one half-brother;James Peters of Sutersville and his grandparents;Mr.and Mrs.Harry Cochnauer of Gratztown. Friends will be received at the Check home for Funerals in Monessen. Services will be held there Thursday;January 5;1950;at 8:45 a.m.;followed by additional rites at the St.Leonard Church;with Rev.Owen J.Kirby officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Military rites will be in charge of Thomas Mckee Post;American Legion;and the Allison-Liscance Post;Veterans of Foreign Wars.
