Allan Jerry Clark Sr.of Perryopolis,R.D.1 died Wednesday,Aug. 5,1987,at 4:18 p.m. in Frick Memorial Hospital,Mt. Pleasant,of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was traveling north of Banning Hill in Perry Township,Fayette County,when he lost control of his car at 3:08 p.m. and it went off the north berm of the highway, striking a tree head-on. He was 36. Mr. Clark was born Sept. 23,1950,in Smithdale,Pa.,a son of the late Maynard Leo Clark Sr. and of Charlotte Beaken Clark,who survives and resides in Marion Villa,Belle Venron. He was a Protestant by faith. Surviving,in addition to his mother,are his maternal grandmother, Myrtle Beaken,of West Newton;three sons, Allan Jerry Clark Jr.and Joseph Leo Clark,both of Belle Vernon R.D. and Jerry Lee Clark at home;one daughter,Charlotte Ann Clark,of Belle Vernon R.D..;one brother, Maynard Leo Clark Jr.in Florida;and four sisters, Mrs. Harry (Laverne) Williams of Fayette City R.D.1,Mrs. John (Dawn) Hega of Belle Vernon R.D.,Mrs. Kevin (Lukie) Gregory of Perryopolis,and Miss Bille Jo Clark of Marion Villa,Belle Vernon. Friends will be received in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.,Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until 11 a.m. Saturday,the hour of services in the funeral home,with the Rev. Peter Foley,pastor,Perryopolis United Methodist Church,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery,Belle Vernon. The Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
