Obituary
Alice Stoll,a lifelong resident of Monessen,died Wednesday,Aug.23,1989,in Hallsworth House,North Charleroi. She was 85. Miss Stoll was born March 11,1901,in Allegheny County,a daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Phillips Stoll. She retired in 1965 from the Page plant in Monessen,where she had worked as an executive secretary. Miss Stoll is survived by several nieces,nephews,cousins and friends. She was Methodist by faith. Friends will be received Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home,Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue, Monessen,where services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.with the Rev. William Anderson,pastor of the United Methodist Church of Monessen,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
