Mrs.Alice Mallabone Smith,wife of Edward L.Smith,Bellevue,died Thursday,August 13,1953. She was the daughter of John and Cisley Mallabone of Charleroi,and is well remembered here,having been employed as chief bookkeeper in the former Bank of Charleroi and Trust Co.a number of years ago. Survivors besides her husband,include one daughter,Mrs.Marion W.Kelly and the followiing brothers and sisters,Mrs.Lily Smith and Mrs.Sarah Booth of Washington,Pa;Mrs.Margaret Kronjaeger and Mrs.Iva Lindholm of Port Jervis,N.Y. Friends will be received at the Edward t.Daugherty Funeral home,366 Lincoln Ave.,Bellevue,Pa.until Monday at 10 a.m.when private interment will take place at Belle Vernon Cemetery.
