Mrs.Alice M.Easton;78;of 510 lookout Ave.;Charleroi;died at 11:55 a.m.Thursday;Nov.6;1975;in Washington (Pa) Hospital following a brief illness. Born July 19;1897;in Pittsburgh;she was a daughter of John and Anna Schmidt and had spent the greater part of her adult life as a resident of the Belle Vernon and Charleroi areas. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church;Order of Eastern Star Chapter 122;and Library Association;all of Charleroi. She was preceded in death by her husband;Wilfred E.Easton Sr.;on Jan.21;1968. Surivivng are one son;Wilfred E.Easton Jr.of Charleroi;two brothers;Henry S.Schmidt of Lynnwood;Belle Vernon R.D.;and John P.Schmidt of Twilight;one sister;Mrs.Clayton (Kathryn) Anderson of Marion;Ind.;four grandchildren;and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Saturday and noon to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m.Sunday in the Harold L.Schrock Funeral Home;226 Fallowfield Ave.;Charleroi;where services will be held at 11 a.m.Monday;with the Rev.Francis M.Blair of the Presbyterian Church of Charleroi in charge. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold L.Schrock is the funeral director in charge.
