Alice M. DiBiaso; 93; of Monessen; passed away Friday; June 15; 2012; in the Mon Valley Care Center; Carroll Township. She was born July 24; 1918; in Monessen; daughter of the late James & Esther H. Tolf Hott. In her youth; she played softball and was known as Lefty. Alice was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Monessen. In addition to her parents; she is preceded in death by her husband; John W. Dibby DiBiaso; sisters; June Molle and husband Joe; and Betty Toots Boyer; two brothers-in-law; Nello DiBiaso and Richard DiBiaso; three nephews; Michael DiBiaso; Robert DiBiaso; and Tom Boyer. Survivors include a son and daughter in-law; Richard and Shawna DiBiaso; of California; daughter and son in-law; Lynda and Anthony Cucciardo; of Virginia; grandchildren; Brian and Renee DiBiaso; Shawna Re and Peter Czerwinsky; Tony Cucciardo Jr. and wife; Mindy; Shannon and Jack Timmeny; great-grandchildren; Lance Cpl. Morgan & Austin Cucciardo; Sophia Czerwinsky; Gabriella Shae DiBiaso; Alexandra Grace DiBiaso; and Dominic Richard DiBiaso. Visitation will be held in the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC.; 1209 Grand Blvd.; Monessen; on Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Libby Hewett; chaplain of Gateway Hospice; officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church; Monessen.
