Mrs. Alice Wellington Lutes,aged 68 years,died at her late home in 702 Seventh street, North Charleroi,Friday, November 8,1940,at 4:30 p.m. Deceased was born October 6,1872,at Elco,Pa.,a daughter of John Wellington and Elizabeth Short Wellington. She came to North Charleroi eight years ago from Monessen. Surviving are the following daughters and sons,Mrs. Frank Goldbaugh and Lloyd Lutes,at home;Harry Lutes of Bentleyville,Mrs. Ethel Wilson,of Monessen;Mrs. Paul Molle,Ford City;Mrs. Joseph Cotz,Pittsburgh,Mrs. Charles Stonage,Monessen;John Lutes,Monongahela,R.D. and Mrs. Anthony Spero of Pittsburgh. Thirteen grandchildren also survive. Friends will be received at the late home until Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock when services will be held with the Rev. George A. Parkins, Pittsburgh,officiating. Interment will be made in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Lawrence B. Frye,funeral director in charge.
